Parkway EMP adds additional thermoset injection capacity & phenolic injection molding capabilities to Saltillo, Mexico facility

Florence, KY - July 20, 2009:

Parkway Products, a global leader in high performance molding technologies, has added additional capacity and capabilities to their Enterprise Molded Products facility in Saltillo, Mexico.  The expansion includes four additional thermoset injection presses, ranging from 200 to 500 tons.  The Saltillo Plant now operates a total of six thermoset injection presses, with phenolic and polyester processing capabilities ranging from 190 to 500 tons.

Parkway EMP’s Saltillo, Mexico facility is Northern Mexico’s largest dual-purpose molding facility, housing both thermoplastic and thermoset molding operations, as well as an assembly operation. The 110,000 ft2 facility, located approximately 45 miles southwest of Monterrey, is ISO9001:2000 and UL certified, and produces components for major transportation, medical and electrical distribution OEMs.
